USAW L1
Eleiko Strength and Conditioning Coach Precision Nutrition L1 US Navy Assistant Command Fitness Leader “Lift Heavy, Lift often. One day a Life may depend on it.” My journey begins in 2011, when I weighed over 310 pounds in my junior year of highschool. It was then I realized that I was way too unhealthy, but I also realized that I had another goal; to join the US Navy. Then, a little more than 2 years later, I was on my way to RTC Great Lakes, IL for bootcamp. I set out to become a Corpsman; the most highly decorated medical job in the entire US military. It was then when I started to gain an interest in superb physical fitness and nutrition, which initially got me into Strength and conditioning. After graduating at the top of my class, I was released from active duty into the reserve component, where I became an Assistant Command Fitness Leader to my unit. From there, I discovered my passion for Olympic Weightlifting, which I am currently training for the National Championships, and (maybe) someday the Olympics! I absolutely love helping people achieve their goals, and making sure that all the proper steps are taken to get there! I try to apply both of my knowledge sets for optimal sports performance. I am currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology. |
